Middle Grounds is a coffee shop just for High School Students starting in 9th grade through young adults (15-23). It is a safe place for teens to study, hang out, or visit with friends. Middle Grounds is different from any other coffee shop because it is run 100% on donations and teen volunteers. The students can enjoy a free coffee shop-style drink and a few snacks while they are at Middle Grounds. It is a relaxing environment for all who come.

Middle Grounds is open every Monday through Thursday for a quieter time for students to study or talk to friends. Friday nights are a bit louder with hanging out, games, or special events.

The students have made Middle Grounds their "own" with some being baristas, painting murals, organizing events, helping to make baskets, and joy mugs, putting stickers on the coffee bean bags, and most importantly inviting friends to hang out with them. Each student is uniquely created with different gifts and talents which makes Middle Grounds even more special because they each have their "handprint" in a different part of Middle Grounds.
